展覧会概要

■　イントロダクション
　「花」と「死」をテーマにした、モノクローム・自然光撮影・無補正のポートレート作品を中心に約20点を展示。フレームの中に映るのは、現実と虚像の世 界。そこで彼らは何を語るのだろうか？
■　プロフィール
鈴木桂子/Suzuki Keiko
　北海道で生まれ、静岡で育つ。1990年代に映画監督・園子温率いる街頭詩パフォーマンス「東京ガガガ」に参加、以後約10年にわたり自主映画製作に関 わる。作品制作の中でカメラに興味を持ち、中古の銀塩カメラを購入。白黒フィルムでの撮影・現像・引き伸ばしまでをこなすようになる。2011年にイギリ ス留学から帰国、写真制作を再始動。また、ライターとして旅モノ書籍をメインに執筆活動も行っている。

■　Introduction
The theme is “Flowers and death”. There are around twenty photographs in the exhibition, which are mainly shot in black and white, with natural lighting and uncorrected. It’s magic what you see as true or false in the frame. What are we told by them?
■　Profile
Keiko Suzuki
Born in Hokkaido and raised in Shizuoka, in the 90’s Keiko Suzuki joined film maker Sion Sono’s guerrilla performance art project called “Tokyo GA GA GA”, then assisted him in his film work for over 10years. During those days, she bought a second-hand analogue camera, a X-700 by MINOLTA. She loves black and white photography and handles the developing and printing, as well as the shooting. In 2011, after studying abroad in the UK, she started shooting again and is also active as a writer, mainly writing for travel publications.
